There was a mixup with the domain service. It was supposed to be forwarded to my makeshift Los Hombres website, but instead it forwarded to itself. It did not like this. I just fixed it, and the changes will occur in about 2 days.

We'll be at M@in Street Internet tonight for open mic night, so everybody come out again...

NOT! I ain't doing SHIT tonight. I'm going straight home from work, eating dinner, and vegging out until I fall asleep. This will be the first time in weeks that I've been able to do that. Rock & Mule ain't easy.

I feel like I'm about to die, and not just because of the show last night. I picked the wrong week to start working out.

Last night at Liquid Lounge was friggin' dope!

We weren't very happy with the sound job, as we could not hear ANYTHING going on, but we played by memory and had an awesome time.

I hope everybody enjoyed the show, especially our medleys. We really love doing those. The Ozzy tribute was a sort of spur of the moment thing. Turned out pretty well.
Unfortunately, one of Monica's bass mallets (I don't know what the hell else to call them, I'm just a stupid guitar/accordion/tinwhistle/alpenhorn player) broke during Mr. Roboto.

I think the absolute coolest thing anyone said to me last night was when Corn Mo walked up to me with a satisfied smile on his face and said, "You guys did great, thanks for playing Mr. Roboto."

Thank YOU, Corn Mo. Good luck up north. I hope you win.

The date is officially set for Wednesday the 13th. Time= TBA, but I'd imagine its about 9:00 pm.

So, if you have already made plans to be there on thursday or friday...FUCK THOSE PLANS!!! Rearange your lives and be there on Wednesday the 13th at the liquid lounge (around 9pm).

Update: Los Hombres de Rock and Roll are now a Superhero team. We fight the shitty, contrived, tripe-shoveling bands that force pseudo intellectualism and bullshit "deep" lyrics on the public. Our current target, or "Arch-Nemesis," is the evil mutant brotherhood known as Staind.

According to drummer du jour monica, we are going to be opening for some Chomsky side project called Syllabus, or Shillabent, or Shizzabuz, or Simblence, or Cheese Blentz, or some other shit. That may be in the next month...who knows.

So basically, dont make any plans for the week of the 12th, 13th, 14th, 15th, 16th... or any other day EVER!!!

Turns out there is some confusion about the date of our show with Corn Mo. Might be that Thursday instead of Friday. We'll let you know as soon as we find out.

We just thought we'd throw that out and see how many of you start frothing at the mouth.

But, rest assured, we will be at M@in Street Internet tonight to rock the house. We haven't chosen any songs, haven't practiced, and don't plan to do so at all. We'll probably just get on stage and do some pantomime.

Should be interesting.

Well, almost... It's Rock and Roll, anyway. You might have to pay a couple bucks, but believe you us, the Rock will be worth whatever paltry sum they ask of you at the door.

"What door is that?" you ask?

Liquid Lounge, FRIDAY June 15th, Los Hombres de Rock and Roll will open for Corn Mo or 357 Lover or both at the June '01 episode of "Children of the Corn Mo."

This will be O U R first show together as a trio.

We don't know a lot of details yet, but we'll let you know as soon as we get more info. Don't make plans that night, unless you want to miss us tearing the roof off that mothersucker!
